Is the Festival all ages?
Yes! All ages are invited to attend.
Are Accessibility Accommodations available?
Yes. Please contact support@goldenroadfestival.com for any questions.
Will Food and Drinks be available?
Yes, food and beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) will be available for purchase. Anyone wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages must bring valid I.D.
Will There Be a Water Station?
Yes. Please bring your empty bottle to fill.

How do I get my ticket or wristband?
The purchaser, with a photo ID, must pick-up your ticket(s) from Will Call the day of the event.
Where is Will Call Located?
At the entrance to the festival site at the Crowne Plaza Ventura, CA
Do Children Need Their Own Ticket?
Yes
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are not refundable.
Are tickets transferable?
Tickets are transferable at Will Call with a photo of the purchaser’s ID.
Travel/Lodging
Where should I stay?
Our partner, the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Venture CA has graciously offered discounted room rates for our attendees. In order to get these discounted rooms you must click through to the Crowne Plaza from the Golden Road Festival website.
Where should I park?
There is a public parking garage just south of the Crowne Plaza.
Festival Experience
When will the gates open, each day?
Depending on your ticket type, with VIP ticket holders entering first, we will open the gate an hour before your day of music begins.
Can I leave and re-enter the Festival?
As long as you have your wristband on.
Will there be late-night shows?
Yes, located at the Crowne Plaza Rooftop Ballroom. This requires a separate ticket from the festival.
Are there other activities besides music?
Yes! Jay Blakesberg and Joshua Hitchens have curated a beautiful gallery celebrating the life and legacy of Bob Weir.
Interviews with Special Guests
Chef Bill Trayor will be offering a very special Grateful Dead themed Sunday Brunch accompanied by a very special trio of musicians. Not to be missed!
Festival Policies
What is the Weather/Rain policy?
We play, Rain or Shine, but we also respect our Ventura County First Responders and will leave it up to them if we need to shut down for inclement weather that is threatening to our safety. No refunds will be available in this case.
Allowed:
• Small Bag/Purse or Fanny Pack, 6x8x3
• Clear Bags, 12x6x12” or smaller
• Refillable Water Bottles (no glass)
• Low-Profile, Festival Friendly Chairs. With a maximum seat height of 10-12” and maximum backrest height of 30”
• Non-Aerosol Sun Screen
• Small Blanket
Prohibited: For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items are NOT permitted inside the festival:
• Professional photography equipment or video recording gear without media credentials
• Drones
• Weapons of any kind (including but not limited to Knives, Firearms,
• Pepper Spray, etc)
• Self Defense Batons, Bats or Clubs
• Tasers or Stun Guns
• Glass of any kind
• Illegal Substances
• Drug Paraphernalia
• Outside Alcohol or Beverages
• Outside Food
• Coolers
• Large Bags
• Large Umbrella
• Laser Pointers
• Fireworks or Explosives
• Air Horns or Loud Noisemakers
• Pets (except service animals)
• Skateboards, bicycles or scooters
Festival Security reserves the right to refuse entry to any person possessing prohibited items.
